This webinar is the first of six bi-monthly workers' compensation legal updates.

This first webinar will cover recent cases and statutory developments from the second half of 2024 relevant to workers compensation subrogation.  The presenters will also take a deeper dive into the issue of Curry hearings in Massachusetts as well as a discussion on recent product defect issues relating to scaffolding.

Speakers: 

Patrick Timoney focuses his practice on large-loss workers' compensation subrogation and product liability matters.  He has more than 30 years of experience litigating matters throughout the United States.   Mr. Timoney is retained by insurance carriers and other attorneys to investigate and pursue large loss claims involving products that have caused serious personal injuries.  In the past ten years, Mr. Timoney has secured more than $30 million in net recoveries for insurance companies and reinsurers.

Aditya Shukla is litigator specializing in large-loss workers' compensation and products liability cases nationwide. He works alongside insurance carriers to promptly investigate and analyze serious accidents arising out of complex product cases. Born in New Delhi, India, Aditya is able to bring a unique cultural perspective while investigating serious loss matters. He received a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Delaware and a Juris Doctorate from Temple University Law School. Aditya is fluent in Hindi.
