Cortney Helfrich teaches and speaks on recovery management topics nationwide, and is a sought out speaker at national conferences held by the ACA, InsideARM, and NASP. She recently was recognized at the ACA Annual Conference with the ‘Helping Members Succeed’ Award and Speaker of the Year. Additionally, Cortney received recognition by her local Chamber of Commerce with the Athena Women’s Leadership award in 2023.
Cortney is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Risk Management and Financial Services as well as her MBA in Organizational Leadership. She holds the CSRP, in addition to multiple designations from the ACA as well as four insurance related designations through the Institutes and 2 through Society of Human Resource Management. As the Chief Personnel Officer at Wilber, Cortney is charged with the handling of team member experiences to include purview over employee benefits, internal events, professional development, and a variety of other Human resource topics. Her professional vision statement that guides in her career is, “If I’m successful, I want others to be successful too.”
