This course is designed to teach insurance adjusters and other attendees about how materials science can be an integral part of failure analyses and other insurance claims, including the potential for subrogation. The webinar will cover some of the common types of analyses that can be performed by a materials science laboratory, including basic information on specialized equipment, what data the analysis provides, and how the results can be useful in an investigation. Two case studies will also be explored to give further insight into the materials science applications.
