Meet our speaker, Joseph M. Nemo III, who is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and is a shareholder at the law firm of Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A., located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Mr. Nemo serves as President of his Firm’s Board of Directors and is the Chair of his Firm’s subrogation department and its national workers’ compensation subrogation recovery program covering all 50 states.  Mr. Nemo has devoted a significant amount of time to developing new and innovative case resolution models that go beyond traditional subrogation recovery approaches.  He has also published a comprehensive set of educational materials designed to maximize subrogation recovery in multiple jurisdictions, and has spoken extensively on the subject for clients, trade associations, and continuing legal education associations throughout the United States.  Mr. Nemo is an active member of National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP).  He has authored articles that have been published in The Subrogator and he was a contributing writer for the workers’ compensation subrogation chapter of the most recent update to NASP’s CSRP course materials.  Mr. Nemo has been an active speaker for NASP on the local and national levels, he has served as Co-Chair of NASP’s Litigation Skills Conference, and he has served as Co-Chair of NASP’s Workers’ Compensation Subrogation Section at numerous NASP Annual Conferences.
