This webinar will cover what employers and carriers can expect and what to be on the lookout for when a temporary employee is injured while on the job. This presentation will examine how staffing agencies and host employers share workers’ compensation immunity, explores critical exceptions (such as gross negligence or specialized employment contracts), and outlines when an employer can be held liable under “joint employer” scenarios or “borrowed servant” doctrines. The webinar is meant to be an overview of the laws governing these types of cases generally across the country and include specific examples of individual state laws and how they may differ from the general rule.
