We will also take a deeper dive into the issue of recent trends of plaintiff attorneys in California refusing to honor WC liens as well as a discussion of the case law relating to litigation of that issue.

Meet our speaker, Christopher Capalbo, Esq., who handles WC subrogation throughout the entire State of California. His legal career started with a focus on trial skills with the District Attorney’s office before moving to subrogation 23 years ago. He’s active with NASP as a speaker, conference chair, track leader and editor. 

Meet our other speaker, Kelsey Mezzanatto Daniel, Esq., who has practiced   California Workers’ Compensation Subrogation litigation statewide for over a   decade. She has also practiced Workers' Compensation Defense which has   provided her with critical insights needed to provide carriers with global   resolutions and optimal outcomes in various scenarios. She is a former speaker and active member of NASP.
