Join us for a skill development session that will focus exclusively on the component of contentions preparation for an intercompany arbitration case.  The advocate’s ability to present a cogent and persuasive narrative before the arbitrator leads to the opportunity to prevail and secure subrogation recovery.  This webinar will go beyond the basics and look at effective openings; logical and easy-to-follow transitioning to liability and damages argument complimented by the integration of Evidence and creation of a proper and persuasive closing.  Fundamental arbitration advocacy concepts such as the use of theory and theme; the understanding of script theory and where and how best to incorporate evidence at the optimal time in the narrative will be examined.  This fast paced engaging one-hour session brings together tips, techniques and practical arbitration advocacy skill sets culled from over 30 years working in the arbitration industry.

Kevin Pike has a career spanning 34 years in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) industry. He has held a variety of positions with the American Arbitration Association, JAMS (Judicial Arbitration Mediation Services) and Arbitration Forums.  He has spent over 20 years specifically in intercompany arbitration and is the Arbitration Manager for national recovery firm, Subroclaims.  He is an Advisory Board Member for both Arbitration Resolution Services (ARS) and Claims/NU Magazine.
