Eligibility Requirements:

  • To matriculate into the CSRP designation program, candidates must have:

    • A minimum of three years of experience in the insurance industry

    • At least one year of direct experience in subrogation

  • Ethics

    Candidates must agree to abide by the Code of Professional Ethics (seven canons included in the application)

Important Exam Information

  • All CSRP exams (online and in-person) require secure exam software and cannot be administered without it
  • The software protects the integrity of the CSRP exam
  • Candidates should notify their IT department in advance
  • Exams may be taken on a home computer/laptop or iPad
  • Required: Complete a software tech-check one week prior to the exam

NOTE:

A $50 cancellation fee will be charged to any examinee who cancels their exam or who fails to show for their scheduled exam or tech-check. To pass the exam, a score of 70 percent or above must be achieved. Exams are graded on a pass/fail basis.
